Learning Journeys are used to deepen a team’s understanding of the social system they’re trying to impact. In meeting with various change agents throughout Chicago, Safer Through Unity participants worked to broaden their perspectives about what is possible and effective in their work.
A learning journey is simply an informal, loosely structured visit wherein participants have an opportunity to learn about challenges, opportunities, insights and learnings that they would not otherwise be exposed to.
